The RD-40VS is a very nice and affordable squareneck resonator guitar from Regal. The sound is generated by a USA-made spun aluminum cone with die-cast aluminum spider bridge and hard maple bridge inserts atop a "power reflex" sound chamber. This chamber is characterized by a sound baffle plate and relatively open body cavity to allow for a big full sound.
