• Built in 1966, this D-28 with Brazilian rosewood back and sides returned to the Martin factory in 2010 for spectacular upgrades of a new premium grade Adirondack spruce top, re-necked with a 14-fret Modified V shape mahogany neck, and adorned with lots of pearl herringbone on the top purfling, rosette and surround, with Paua abalone purfling on back, sides, and backstrip, elaborate Tree of Life inlay on ebony fingerboard, bridge, pickguard, and Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay (all in the style of the D-50 Koa Deluxe). It has gold Grover tuners and abalone dot bridge pins. Just...wow. Original Geib-style hard shell case (cabernet lining). Made in USA. On consignment.
