An early 20th century instrument, this Gibson H-1 Mandola has a pumpkin finish on bound spruce top, dark finish on birch back and sides, and a bound ebony fingerboard. It has an oval soundhole with a multi-ring rosette. Other features include a raised plastic pickguard, Brazilian rosewood mandolin bridge, and 4-on-a-plate tuners with ivoroid buttons. Original hard shell case. Made in Kalamazoo, USA.

- "V" neck profile
- Original raised tortoise plastic pickguard
- Adjustable compensated Brazilian rosewood mandolin bridge (needs archtop bridge)
- Logo on modified tailpiece cover
- Newer nut
- 4-on-a-plate tuners (ivoroid buttons)
- Paddle peghead overlay features slanted pearl "the Gibson" logo inlay
- Currently strung for mandolin tuning G,D,A,E
