    Built in Gibson's Custom Shop in Nashville, the 1961 Les Paul SG Standard Reissue is a faithful recreation of the transitional year when Gibson's Les Paul took on the double cutaway body that would later be renamed the SG. Hide glue construction, long tenon neck joint, nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and period-correct hardware throughout. The mahogany body and set neck are in the iconic Cherry color, with the Vintage Original Spec (VOS) finish. Comes with a Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case and certificate of authenticity. Made in USA.
