A very nice open back banjo from the late 19th century, this A.C. Fairbanks Electric No. 0 has a light stained oak? neck and dowel stick, a newer 18-fret ebony fingerboard , metal-clad wood rim, and 12-1/8" skin head. Other features include an electric (Whyte Laydie) tone ring and bi-level grooved tension hoop. Some newer and some original fancy pearl inlays. Currently strung with nylon strings. Made in USA. On consignment.
