Andy explores six familiar standards illustrating chord changes, voicings, embellishments and improvisational ideas. He teaches a basic version of the song then records a more complex rendition on the Yamaha Disklavier. He plays the disk back at half-speed giving a detailed explanation as the keys move up and down on their own. Andy then reharmonizes the tune and also composes a fresh melody over the original chord structure.
