A very fine professional resonator banjo from David and Paul Hopkins, this Walnut Deluxe model features a figured walnut neck and double bound resonator. The Jimmy Cox 3-ply maple rim is fitted with a Hopkins flathead tone ring. Other appointments include ornate holly-leaf pattern fingerboard and peghead inlays, Waverly 2-band tuners & 5th sting peg with grained ivoroid buttons, an ebony fretboard, chrome plated hardware, a Kerschner tailpiece, a dual-action truss rod, and railroad spikes at frets 7, 9 & 10.
