Experience the Elderly Difference

A fine example of Chuck Lee's musical artistry, Lone Star Deluxe Custom #865 features a natural walnut neck made from a tree cut down 100 years ago. To emphasize the walnut's age, Chuck has taken the perfectly sound neck blank and added forest green grain lines on the peghead top and back, trying to give the look and feel of the ancient art of Japanese Kintsugi (a mending technique for pottery). The 12” maple rim is stained black and is tapered to form the tone ring. The Hawkins Spring style S-shaped peghead has Pegheds tuners - they look like violin pegs, but are geared inside. Signature Chuck Lee tone!  Handmade in Texas.
