The body is a modified Beard E-style of solid mahogany with open body chamber and baffle, all powered by a sand cast spider bridge & Beard spun cone, for that now classic open-body resonator guitar sound. Other features include square profile mahogany neck, translucent red-brown finish, Douglas series custom coverplate, dual open soundhole rings, fabulous dark-stained Bubinga fretboard with dot inlay & "Jerry Douglas" signature inlay, 2" nut, 25" scale, chrome plated hardware and hardshell case. Additionally this guitar is performance ready with an installed Fishman "Nashville" bridge pickup and Fishman Douglas Aura pedal. Very sweet outfit.
