VEGA STYLE X TUBAPHONE BANJO MANDOLIN (1929): VG-EC, ~10-15/16" rim, 2-piece flamed maple neck (sunburst finish may be touched up or possibly refinish, but I think not - SW), ivoroid-bound 19-fret ebony fingerboard with fancy engraved pearl inlays, 1-1/8" nut width, 13-7/8" scale, tubaphone tone ring, nickel hardware, 28 brackets, bracket band, tortoise plastic-bound inner and outer edges of rim, fancy marquetry rim cap, dark stained headstock overlay and heelcap with engraved pearl inlays, engraved tuner coverplate reads "Made by the / VEGA COMPANY / 155 Columbus Ave / BOSTON" with Vega star logo, No Knot tailpiece replaces original, rare and very cool banjo-mando, with OHSC (purple interior) (SN:85746)
