PHOENIX ULTRA (1995): EC, deep red sunburst finish, unique double cutaway A-style, carved Douglass Fir (from same stock as the Unicorn model we are told) top with f-holes, highly figured maple neck, sides and carved back, b-w-bound 24-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl flame inlays, 1-1/8" nut width, 14" scale, pearl nut, adjustable ebony bridge, black hardware, tailpiece cover engraved "Phoenix", black-bound body, abalone top and back purfling, elaborately carved headstock with ebony overlay and abalone inlay of the legendary phoenix rising, reverse-geared Waverly tuners, McIntyre pickup installed with endpin jack, neck has been reset, repaired crack at bass side f-hole, handcrafted in the USA, fine sound, with shaped OHSC (black lining) (SN:159)
