MARTIN STYLE A (1915): VG-EC with repaired back and sides cracks, 9" lower bout, teardrop shape, bent spruce top with oval soundhole, Brazilian rosewood back and sides (back and sides appear to be refinished), mahogany neck joins body at 10th fret, 20-fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with small dot inlays, 1-3/16" nut width, ~13-1/8" scale, ebony bridge, tailpiece cover missing, inlaid tortoise plastic pickguard, 4-on-a-plate open-gear tuners with white-plastic buttons (one button appears to be replaced), "C.F. MARTIN & CO / NAZARETH, PA." stamped on back of peghead and inside backstrip, rare early model, on consignment, with newer arched-lid HSC (burgundy lining) (SN:4506)
