MARTIN D-18 (1944)MARTIN D-18 (1944) VGC+, here's a great sounding players D-18 that has seen many repairs over the years but is in great playing shape now! Repairs include: neck reset, new bridge, new pickguard, bridge plate patch, replacement tuners, refretted, new nut, fingerboard thinned down, new Martin headstock decal, repaired top, back and side cracks with overspray, one large side patch and several small patches inside, some type of wood filler on treble side and back. Now the good stuff: original scalloped bracing, spruce top, mahogany back and sides, 14-fret mahogany neck, 20-fret ebony fingerboard, dot inlays, ebony bridge with long saddle, Brazilian rosewood peghead overlay, Martin tuners with butterbean buttons, tortoise plastic pickguard and body binding, w-b-w-b top purfling, 15-3/4" lower bout, 25.4" scale, 1-21/32" nut width, 3-7/8" to 4-7/8" body depth, great vibe and sound!
