GIBSON PB-3 PLECTRUM BANJO (1929)

VG-EC, very cool prewar Mastertone banjo that was previously restored by Richelieu, completely refinished and the hardware has been replated gold (looks great), the resonator has been rebound with ivoroid and the back interior is finished satin natural, maple neck and resonator, 3/4" maple rim, 40 hole archtop tone ring, 2-piece flange, 24 brackets, dual coordinator rods, clamshell tailpiece, ivoroid-bound 22-fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with diamonds, snowflakes and block inlay on 21st fret engraved "MASTERTONE", "GROVER PAT." tuners with pearloid buttons, double cut peghead, diamond and curlique inlays plus script "Gibson" logo on headstock, pearl truss rod cover, 26-3/8" scale, 1-1/8" nut width, some extra holes in rim and reproduction label is applied,, nice sound, with Richelieu HSC (burgundy lining), on consignment - price reduced (SN:9031-20)
