GIBSON A-4 (1915)

VG-EC, black carved spruce top, red-stained sides and one-piece back, mahogany neck joins body at 10th fret, 21-fret ebony fingerboard with treble side extension and pearl dot inlays, 1-3/16" nut width, ~14" scale, oval soundhole with ivoroid binding, ivoroid soundhole rosette with inlaid wood rope pattern on each side, ivoroid-bound body and fretboard, fleur-de-lis and "The Gibson" pearl inlays in headstock, 4-on-a-plate "Handel" tuners with ivoroid buttons, adjustable ebony bridge, "The Gibson" engraved tailpiece, tortoise plastic pickguard stamped "PAT.MAR.30.'09", pickguard bracket stamped "PAT.JULY 4, 1911", back and sides have areas of dull finish caused by instrument being in case for extended time, on consignment, fine sound, with OHSC (purple lining) (SN:20532)
