FENDER STRATOCASTER (1955): VGC, Rory's Strat's got nothing on this one, some of the Sunburst finish is still intact, body dated 11/55 in spring cavity, the 1 piece maple neck is indeed "played in" and feels great, neck date is 12/55, pro refret done recently, under the (rough) white pickguard we find 2 original pickups at mid and neck, vintage stle Duncan pickup at bridge (all 3 covers are original), newer ('96) pots and 5-way switch installed and some shielding paint (original 3-way switch in case), original tone cap is intact, original tuners have been off and now are back on (coversion bushings make this possible), pickguard screws are original, back plate screws are new, tremolo is all original, an old war horse that still sounds killer (especially the neck pickup), 1-11/16" nut, 25-1/2" scale, with (tattered) tweed OHSC, on consignment (SN:8030)
