PARAMOUNT STYLE A BANJO-MANDOLIN (1930): VG-EC, 11/16" maple rim with maple cap, 24 brackets, ~11-1/4" skin head, arched brass hoop tone ring, maple resonator with 2 strips of alternating light and dark purfling on sides, dark backstrip and 2 rings of smaller back purfling, 3-piece maple neck with 2 mahogany center strips, rosewood bound rosewood fingerboard with red and brown marquetry underlay, pearl split diamond and square inlays, 17 frets, ebony headstock overlay with "PARAMOUNT / STYLE A / Wm. L. LANGE" inlay, 1-3/16" nut width, ~15-3/16" scale length, 8 individual tuners stamped "PAGE "GEARED" PEG / E / PAT. PEND'G" with ivoroid buttons, neck tilt adjuster appears to be original (adjusting screws are replaced), tailpiece cover is missing and one string hook is broken, chrome plated "hotdog" armrest, very rare and cool instrument!!! on consignment, with E.J. ALBERT made OHSC (red ling and zippered shroud, replaced handle) (SN:13076)
