NATIONAL STYLE 1 TENOR GUITAR (1929): VG-EC, classic guitar-shaped nickel-plated brass body, 1-piece maple neck with ivoroid-bound dark-stained hardwood fingerboard, pearl dot inlays, banjo-style headstock with Planet tuners stamped "PLANET PAT. PEND." with ivoroid buttons, string scratches around tuner posts and part of National decal missing on peghead, body stamped "PAT. PEND." at end of fingerboard and serial number on bottom side near tailpiece, 1-7/16" nut width, ~22-7/8" scale, appears all original except for replacement bone nut, on consignment, with very poor condition over-size SSC (red lining) (SN:861)
