VG-EC except some repaired cracks in back of resonator and could use some work (dress frets, restring and set up, etc. - sold AS-IS), made by Vega for Schmick, 9" skin head with top tension adjustment, natural finish maple neck and 2-3/4" deep sealed back resonator, 20-fret ebony fingerboard, pearl dot inlays, 1-3/32" nut width, ~20-3/4" scale, mechanical friction pegs with ivoroid buttons, label says "THE LYRIC BANJO" / Pat. Sept. 25, 1914 / Invented & Mfd. by / WM Schmick / CAMDEN NJ," possibly an inspiration for the later Vegavox banjos, with OHSC, price reduced
