GRETSCH SYNCHROMATIC 6031 (1954): VG-EC, 17" lower bout, rounded cutaway, 1-11/16" nut width, 25-1/4" scale, natural finish, spruce top with w-b-bound f-holes, figured maple sides and arched back, w-b-w-bound 21 fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays, w-b-w-b-bound body, w-b-w-bound headstock with inlaid script "Gretsch" and "Synchromatic," rosewood adjustable bridge, later Guild gold harp tailpiece, gold tuners with metal buttons, gold hardware, Johnny Smith style pickup added (control on newer black pickguard), with tweed OHSC (maroon interior) (SN:11243)
