NATIONAL N-720 (c.1967-68): VG-EC except for repaired headstock seams, gloss natural finish, D-size, solid spruce top, X-braced, mahogany back and sides, bolt-on 14-fret maple neck, 19-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays, zero-fret, "Gumby"shaped headstock with raised "National" logo, 3-on-a-plate Kluson Deluxe tuners with large tulip shaped buttons, unique "long horn" wood bridge, large 3-point tortoise plastic pickguard, interesting soundhole rosette, white-bound body and fretboard, b-w-b-w top purfling, 15-5/8" lower bout, 3-1/2" to 4" body depth, 25.5" scale, 1-11/16" nut width, short lived model built by Kay when it was owned by Valco (Supro, National), armrest and replacement truss rod cover added, kind of Southwestern vibe, with very rough SSC, on consignment
