SLINGERLAND SONGSTER LAP STEEL GUITAR (late 1930's): VG-EC, guitar shaped solid body with maple top, sides and back veneer, sunburst finish, neck-thru body design, six strings, white-bound 27-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, 1-15/16" nut width, 24" scale, nickel hardware, replacement DeArmond pickup with controls installed, pickup cover engraved with script "Slingerland" logo, pickup and controls mount to raised sunburst control plate, one volume and one tone control with octagonal brown bakelite knobs on opposite sides of pickup (these controls are not functional), rosewood bridge, stop tailpiece, white and green sparkle headstock inlays, Grover tuners with white plastic buttons, with Martin mini-guitar gigbag, very cool!
