VASILE GLIGA (2005): EC, very fine copy of the Hellier Strad, one piece slab cut back of outrageous figure, similar ribs and neck, amber-orange varnish, bone and ebony inlay around top inbetween two rows of purfling (inlay is diamond and dot pattern), bone inlays on pegs tailpiece and chin rest, floral designs on ribs and scroll/peg box, strong sound with nice depth on the low end and fairly rich over all, has been played very little so should open up quite a bit with playing, comes with makers certificate and shaped HSC, on consignment - price reduced (SN:01.02)
