MARTIN D-18 (1940): VGC+ except has seen much work over the years (new top and treble side by Martin in the 1950's), 15-1/2" lower bout, '50's spruce top (not scalloped), mahogany back and sides, 14-fret mahogany neck, 20-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, 1-11/16" nut width, 25.4" scale, repro ebony bridge, tortoise plastic pickguard (made by our shop from the oversize '50's pickguard that Martin put on) and body binding, replacement fingerboard by our shop, nickel Grover open-gear tuners with butterbean buttons, recent neck reset by our shop, back and original side oversprayed, original finish on neck, very fine sound, great player's instrument, with '50's Martin HSC (black with plush green lining, much duct tape on the edges (SN:74185)
