Our 30-Day Warranty
All used instruments from Elderly (except as noted below) are guaranteed to
remain free from defects in materials and workmanship for 30 days from the
date of purchase. We will repair any instrument found to be defective within
the warranty period. Exceptions include consignment instruments (which are not
owned by us, but are sold by us on commission for private owners) and those in
AS-IS condition. Also, we cannot guarantee strings, harmonicas, banjo heads,
guitar tremolo re-adjustments, checked finishes (which are usually the result of
temperature/ humidity changes), and damage resulting from abuse, accident, or
improper use.
All our instruments (except those offered AS-IS ) are shop-adjusted for
optimum playability before we offer them. (Consignment instruments, at the discretion
of the seller, do not necessarily get our regular setup.) In most cases, there will be
an additional charge for adjustments that differ from our shop standard.
