WECHTER / SCHEERHORN ACOUSTIC-ELECTRIC RESONATOR GUITAR & GIGBAG: MODEL 6510F (Mahogany Tobacco Sunburst) with SCHERTLER BASIK PICKUP - Master resonator guitar builder Tim Scheerhorn has teamed up with the folks at Wechter guitars, instrument builders in Asia and the Schertler pickup company to produce this highly affordable squareneck, acoustic-electric resonator guitar. Designed by Scheerhorn, manufactured in Asia and assembled & setup by the staff at Wechter's Michigan based shop, this model features the signature Scheerhorn open body design with soundposts and baffle, very high quality mahogany laminate body, mahogany neck, f-holes, bound body & neck, tobacco sunburst gloss finish, dot inlaid fretboard w/ simulated fret inlays, spun resonator cone, cast spider bridge, hard maple inserts and bone nut. The Schertler Basik pickup system includes the Basik element on the spider with an onboard preamp/EQ featuring volume and tone controls mounted inside the f-holes and easy access battery holder. Includes well padded deluxe gigbag.
