VOX AC15 HANDWIRED HERITAGE COLLECTION COMBO AMPLIFIER: The Holy grail of Vox tone is here! Commemorating the 50th anniversary of VOX, the AC15 hand-wired is more than just a copy of the original. This version includes both the prized EF86 preamp channel from 1958 and the 1963 top boost preamp channel, then adds modern tone shaping control enhancements to make this a serious tone machine! Channel 1 (EF86 channel) features volume, brilliance, bass shift and pentode/triode controls. Channel 2 (top boost) features volume, treble and bass controls. Also includes for both channels a top cut control and an output power switch to reduce power from 15 to 7.5 watts for a smoother sound. TV front, Vox brown diamond grill cloth, cream vinyl covering and a Vox/Celestion Alnico Blue 12" loudspeaker. Tube complement of 1-EF86, and 3-ECC83/12AX7 preamp tubes, 2-EL84 power tubes and 1-EZ81 rectifier tube.
