SCHERTLER BASIK RESONATOR GUITAR PICKUP SYSTEM
This system application was developed by Schertler with master resonator guitar builder, Tim Scheerhorn, for use on spider bridge style resonator guitars. The system combines the small Schertler Basik electrostatic microphone transducer with the Stat-Pre outboard preamp, which powers the pickup, pre-amplifies the signal and allows for volume adjustment. The pickup element mounts on the underside of the spider bridge with the wire routed to a jack mounted in the side of the body. This system delivers a full natural sound. Professional installation recommended.
