NATIONAL POLYCHROME & CASE
-
The National Polychrome is a steel body version of the tricone. Features include a very cool textured, powder coat, baked-on paint finish (available in a variety of colors), lattice soundholes and nickel tailpiece. The maple neck joins the body at the 12th fret, has a dual action truss rod, is 1.825" wide at the nut and has a 25" scale length. The peghead is solid with black overlay, art deco shield logo, and closed gear tuners. The rosewood fingerboard is fully bound and has dot inlay. Sound is powered by 3 - 6" swirl-pattern, embossed cones and a cast aluminum T-bar bridge with hard maple insert. A shaped hardshell case is included. Classic tricone sound with some edge.
