MITCH "CONVERTIBLE" RESONATOR BANJO & CASE: MAPLE - Flathead & archtop banjo all in one instrument. By utilizing the innovative "Mitchell Tone Ring Mate" tone ring system you can convert this banjo into either a flathead or archtop banjo, such as you prefer. The tone ring components are heavy polished unplated brass for great sound and sustain. Other classic features include a 3-ply maple rim, flame maple neck and resonator, tortoise-shell neck & resonator binding, ornately inlaid rosewood fretboard, double-cut peghead, adjustable truss rod, ~26-3/8" scale, planetary tuners & geared 5th peg, nickel hardware, white frosted head and flattop wooden hardshell case. Designed by Mitch Meadors, crafted by Eric Sullivan and endorsed by Joey Cox, of "Doyle Lawson & Quick Silver."
