Celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Kingston Trio, a band that completely changed popular music and put Martin guitars in a starring role in the process. This model is inspired by the 00-21 played by Trio member Dave Guard. Only 100 will be made. - 00 12-fret body of Indian rosewood & Italian Alpine spruce, scalloped braces, tortoise bindiing, layered black/white top trim and 28-style rosette, ebony bridge with long, drop-in saddle, Delmar tortoise pickguard. Mahogany modified V-shape neck, square-slotted peghead with small old-style decal, Waverly-Sloane 3-on-plate brass gears with ivoroid buttons, ebony fretboard (24.9" scale, 1 7/8" nut) with short inlay pattern of slotted squares. Bone nut & saddle, full gloss finish (including neck), Geib style case. Inside label signed by C. F. Martin IV and Trio mainstay Bob Shane, another label in memory of Dave Guard.
