HOPKINS WOODIE RESONATOR BANJO & CASE: As the name implies this fabulous banjo is an example of just what wood can do all on its own. This bluegrass banjo has no tone ring !!!. Rather it has a very inventive Pass rim. Just keep the head tension up on this banjo and you will get a surprisingly powerful response. Also, this banjo weighs far less than a typical resonator banjo. Other features include figured walnut neck and resonator, ornate fingerboard and peghead inlays, planetary pegs & geared 5th peg, ebony fretboard, chrome plated hardware, bound neck and resonator, railroad spikes at frets 7, 9 & 10, includes shaped wooden hardshell case.
