BOGDON 2-STRING CARDBOARD BOX BASS: This innovative and completely unique bass must be seen and played to fully appreciate!! Constructed of what would normally be considered "unconventional" materials, this 2-string (E,A,D -- use your preferred 2 of 3 strings) cardboard bass can be played acoustically or plugged-in (yes, there is a custom piezo pickup installed inside the box)! With common household trim molding as a bridge, a finishing nail as a nut, a piece of wood as a neck, screws as the "saddles" and string guides, and "Bogdon Whacker" strings, about the only traditional pieces of hardware are the tuning machines and 1/4" input jack. The sound and tone of this bass surprises and surpasses the expectations of the most skeptical people that encounter it!! Sorry, in-store sales only (see the Bogdon Kit bass for shippable version).
