HOHNER 1101 XB40 EXTREME BENDING HARMONICA, KEY OF G: First ALL NEW development in harmonicas since the chromatic harp of the 1920s! Normal diatonic note bending technique can be used to bend every note - blow and draw - two complete half steps by means of a patented system of internal valve cells and zero-offset auxillary reeds which are tuned and adjusted for fast response and optimal bending over the entire harp. The valve cells are airtight, ensuring airtight performance and providing resonating chambers for a full, rich tone. 10-hole, plastic combed diatonic in a vinyl case. Chromatic-sized. 10 years in the making; designed by Hohner's Rick Epping.

HOHNER XB40 EXTREME BENDING HARMONICA
Rick Epping and the ingenious engineers at Hohner have revolutionized the harmonica with this, the first all-new innovation in harps in over 80 years! The XB40 is a 10-hole diatonic with a major twist -- every note, blow and draw, bends! The number of available notes is almost 4 times that of a regular diatonic. The harp measures 4-3/4" wide by ~1-1/8" thick by ~1-11/16" deep -- it looks like a giant diatonic. The comb is plastic with a screw-on plastic mouthpiece (sort of like a 270 chromatic mouthpiece). These harps are happenin' and they open up a whole new world of playing possibilities! We stock the most popular keys and can order others -- just inquire!
