BOGDON WASHTUB BASS PICKUP: Building your own washtub bass can be done easily with just a few basic parts in about an hour. Now, from the innovators that brought us the Bogdon Cardboard Box Bass, comes the Washtub Bass Pickup, specifically for you washtubbers with the need to become electric! This pickup is designed to amplify the warm, natural sound existing within any washtub bass. Utilizing a standard 1/4" input jack, the pickup mounting bracket is easy to attach and sturdy enough to allow for safe transportation without having to disassemble and reassemble the pickup. This unique pickup eliminates the need of a microphone and offers the performer control similar to any electric bass. Once attached, it is totally plug and play! Minimum assembly required (1/4" and 3/8" drill bits and several wrenches).
