YAMAHA SILENT VIOLIN

This minimalist design electric violin has a built-in practice headphone amp that allows you to practice "silently" so as not to disturb others nearby. You may also connect to a CD, MD or cassette player and practice along with a recording, all the while listening through the headphones. When you are done practicing and ready to perform, simply plug into the built-in 1/4" output jack and hook up to an amp or mixing board. Other features include 4 fine tuners and a specially designed Kun shoulder rest. Runs on 2 AA (SUM-3) batteries or optional Yamaha PA3 series adapter. So if you have found yourself avoiding playing your violin because you figured nobody wanted to hear it, or if you are looking for a straight forward electric violin, the SV-120K will suit your needs.
