PETERSEN "LEVEL 1" MAHOGANY BOUZOUKI & CASE: Mahogany back & sides, spruce or cedar top with wood binding, rosewood fretboard (1-5/16" nut, 25-3/8" scale), headplate (with abalone P logo inlaid) matches wooden rosette and binding, chrome hardware. Octave-tuned bass, unison-tuned treble. Hardshell case. Handcrafted in the USA by W.A. Petersen. Cosmetic appointments vary. Petersen enjoys unusual wood grain patterns and putting together pleasing combinations of tone woods and trim woods. Trim on LEVEL 1 instruments is simple. LEVEL 2, 3 & 4 instruments have prettier woods and fancier trim.
