Developed by modification phenom Joe Filisko, the Thunderbird has these innovations: The harp has more room under the covers to allow for the extra-long low tuned reeds. That eliminates rattling. The laminated bamboo comb is sealed and has rounded channel openings (like the Crossover and Marine Band Deluxe models). These are excellent -- they work and the sound and playability are very nice.
