BRENT BENFIELD "HOLLYROSE" CLASSICAL GUITAR AND CASE

This more traditional all solid wood guitar features a spruce top with a Kohno-inspired bracing pattern, East Indian Rosewood back and sides, a Byer's compensated nut, 12 hole lo-tie bridge, and a bright almost white Holly binding with red and purple accent stripes. Neck has 650 mm scale and 52 mm nut width with a 20th fret extension and a MOP side marker at the seventh fret. The thin lacquer finish is satin on the back and sides, glossy on the top. Brent considers this a "level 3," a step up from his usual modest guitars. The action is very comfortable. The sound is full and well balanced with a very crisp and clean midrange. An easy playing, excellent sounding guitar, probably the nicest one we've had from Brent so far.
