Special Edition - 7-string dreadnought with its double G-string is "the Swiss army knife" of guitars according to McGuinn. Play clean leads & bass runs on the single strings, then chord with the doubled string for a great 12-string-like jangle. Indian rosewood Dreadnought, Sitka spruce top, scalloped braces with forward-shifted X, ivoroid binding, herringbone top trim, abalone rosette, vintage toner, tortoise pickguard. Modified V-shape neck, bound ebony fretboard (25.4" scale, 1-3/4" nut), abalone hexagon inlays (number 7 inset in first fret hexagon), 45-style peghead, gold enclosed gears with ebony buttons. Geib style hardshell case (Martin #545). Strings are MSP4200 or MSP4100 with additional .010 G-string.
