GOLD TONE GM6 6-STRING MANDOLIN: Tuned like a guitar, but an octave higher. Maple A-model mandolin, solid carved spruce top, sunburst finish, cream binding. Bound rosewood fretboard (13-3/4" scale, 1-3/4" nut width), small pearl dot position markers, mandolin-style adjustable-height bridge with bone saddle, 3-on-a-plate covered Kluson-style gears with oval metal buttons. Special string set (see #GTMGS) .010, .013, .020W, .032W, .042W, .052W. High E string is tuned the same as a mandolin E.
