FAT TONE FAT MODEL SS SINGLE COIL PICKUP: Middle position replacement Strat® pickup, vintage style output with a clear balanced bell-like chime with rich, round bottom end and that clear sweet top end sparkle you remember. Perfect for 50's and 60's style tones! 6.5k output, reverse-wound/reverse-polarity, laser cut fiberboard bobbin, Formvar 42 wire, sand cast Alnico 5 magnets, push-back cloth covered wire and a white cover.

FAT TONE FAT MODEL SS SINGLE COIL PICKUP
The Fat Tone Fat Model SS is a direct Single coil replacement. Made with a high quality, lazer cut Fiberboard Bobbin, wound with with Era Correct Heavy Formvar 42 wire, the highest quality Sand Casted Beveled Alnico 5 Rod magnets, Vintage Pre-Tinned black and white cloth leads. We offer the Fat Model SS in 3 different output levels with choice of Cream, Black or White covers. The Middle position pickup is Reverse Wound, Reverse Polarity (RWRP) for noise cancellation in the 2 and 4 positions. Believe it or not, the Fat Model SS has very low hum and noise compared to most single coil pickups. Items in stock may vary.
