FISHMAN ELLIPSE AURA

This very innovative system combines the Ellipse soundhole-mounted preamp with the Aura Acoustic Imaging technology and the Acoustic Matrix under-saddle pickup element. The element generates the signal which is processed by the preamp and blended with mic sound images and then sent off through a mono-jack. So as to obtain images best suited to your guitar, this package includes software that allows you to download images from the Fishman library and then upload them to your Ellipse-Aura unit via a mini-USB port. There is space for 4 images. Other features include a anti-feedback switch, volume, low-end roll-off, phase switch, pickup-image blend and image selector. The unit fits most soundholes with a diameter of 3-7/8"- 4-3/32." Pickup element fits 3/32" saddle width. Professional installation recommended. Please note that specific top bracing patterns may prevent installation. Taylor, Larrivee and Seagull are particularly problematic lines. The only way to know if this unit will fit your guitar is to physically check the fit on your guitar.
