                           G-VGC, very fine workmanship from a noted early American violin maker, highly flamed two piece back, antiqued amber varnish that appears to be original but has a later clear coat on top, back center seam has been repaired - solid but inside cleats are a bit clunky looking, set up with helicores and low action so is very easy to play, has nice tone with good depth on the low end, this is a large violin (364-365mm) with a slightly longer than average string length, with oblong HSC, on consignment (SN:1876)    ($1,550.00) ]]>
