Interview with George Gruhn, the vintage guitar expert and owner of Gruhn's Guitars, a renowned Nashville store. He discusses his addiction to guitars, his early days of selling guitars at festivals, his use of live snakes in his station wagon to keep would-be thieves away, more. George does appraisals of some rare Guitars: a Hermann Hauser, Les Paul Bursts, Gretsch Penguin, and one of the earliest Martin Guitars. He previews his own line of guitars he has designed and is offering for sale. We cover George's history with the Guild Guitar Company and his love of reptiles, including the ones he keeps in his office. Then on to a tour of the repair shop and demonstration of a repair or two, with tour guide Walter Carter. Carter has co-authored many books with George, including a standard vintage guitar pricing guide. 90 min. ($16.15) ]]>
