Dominic John Suchyta

Dominic has been playing music his entire life. He began studying at Detroit's Cass Technical High School and later continued at Michigan State University. The last 10 years have found him touring with Lansing old-time radio revivalists Steppin' In It while playing with other songwriters and groups whenever possible. He's recorded with just about everyone, from Seth Bernard & Daisy May to Greg Brown & Jack White.

A resident instructor at the MSU Community School of Music, his patient teaching style varies depending on the student, from notation to hands and ears. Due to a hectic touring schedule, Mondays and Tuesdays work best.
