Django-style Gypsy Swing Guitar Workshop

Taught by Harmonious Wail's Django-style Gypsy swing guitarist Tom Waselchuk, this popular hands-on workshop will cover Django-Reinhardt Gypsy swing, the styles of contemporary Gypsy swing players, and general swing chording, including right-hand technique for Gypsy swing [up-tempo songs, ballads, and Parisian waltzes]. This workshop is for beginning to intermediate players. Tom, who has played with and led the Full Count Jazz Band, will also demonstrate basic Django phrases and arpeggios; the workshop includes hand-outs with examples of each, in addition to a chart for a Gypsy standard tune for all to jam on while practicing these chord forms and phrases.
