(free)
Elderly Instruments, Hal Leonard Publishing Company, and Acoustic Guitar Magazine are proud to co-host two events presented by virtuoso musician/author/teacher David Hamburger, who is Acoustic Guitar Magazine's Education Editor and the author of several successful and popular Hal Leonard instructional books.
The free 11:00 a.m. concert will showcase David's talents on slide guitar, dobro, and steel.
The event will also feature special 15% discounts on all of David Hamburger's popular Hal Leonard Acoustic Guitar Method instructional books to customers visiting Elderly throughout the day on Saturday, March 27.
David has released two solo CDs, toured with Joan Baez, and spent a season playing guitar on the Food Network show "Emeril Live," where he was better known as C. F. Steaks.
David grew up outside Boston learning bluegrass, bottleneck, jazz, blues, slide, R&B, pedal steel, and dobro. He lives in Austin, Texas, where he plays dobro with the bluegrass band The Grassy Knoll Boys and fronts the acoustic blues quintet Beaumont Lagrange. [Sometimes, Beaumont Lagrange is string-based, at other times it's perhaps a guitar/trumpet/clarinet trio. What fun!]
See the next event for information on David's workshop, and don't forget those great Hal Leonard/Hamburger 15% discounts all day!
