Hot-Toe-Mitty: an old Appalachian saying used to express feelings of great excitement, wonderment, joy, or surprise. The sound of this group will make you feel all of those things, taking you everywhere from the front porch of a mountain home to a gypsy caravan wandering the cobblestone streets of France. Hot-Toe-Mitty features elaborate vocal harmonies backed by old-time instruments played with youthful vigor and style. In the short lifetime of the group, Hot-Toe-Mitty has already entertained audiences at venues ranging from Ann Arbor's Blind Pig to Kalamazoo's Kraftbrau Brewery and the prestigious Hiawatha Music Festival. With the release of their first album, entitled "Hollow Near the Spring", radio stations have been joining in on the buzz about the group that continues to spread its wings throughout Michigan and the Midwest region.
