The world of the dulcimer is nothing new to Mr. Berch. He's been playing, teaching and recording on dulcimers (both lap and hammered, among various other instruments) for over 20 years! A former member of the internationally known celtic group Colcannon, Doug also won the national lap and hammered dulcimer championship in 1983. Since then, he's performed across the country as well as played on numerous studio recordings. We're proud and pleased to have Doug here for an afternoon of the sights and sounds of the lap and hammered dulcimer. He will take you through the basics of each instrument and give you an excellent idea of the sound that each is capable of. See you there!
